Batteries are often neglected as a part of routine vehicle maintenance, especially with the popularity of so-called maintenance free batteries.

With such batteries, there is no need to check or top-off the individual cells with water as has historically been the case. Corrosion tends to build-up on battery terminals and connectors because of the physical make-up of the battery and the environment to which it is exposed. In order to ensure an uninterrupted power supply to the myriad of electrically powered components of the vehicle, it is important that the battery connections to the vehicle remain clean.

The Solution:

Wynn's® Battery Maintenance Kit is the way to keep your battery terminals and connections clean and trouble-free.

First, use Wynn’s Battery Terminal Cleaner & Leak Detector to clean off any existing corrosion from the battery terminals and connections.
	The product should be allowed to soak into any build-up of corrosion or other contamination, instantly neutralizing any acids and making any solid materials easy to remove. After about a minute, any solid material can be brushed away and then the battery terminals and connections rinsed with water and dried.
	Contains a pH sensitive indicator or dye that causes it to turn pink when exposed to acids. Can be used to detect acid leaks from cracks in the battery case. Not harmful to vehicle ﬁnishes; if spilled and washes off with water.
	Following the cleaning and drying of the battery terminals, Wynn’s Battery Terminal Protector Pads are installed on each battery terminal.
	Designed to ﬁt both top and side terminal batteries. Contain a perforated center section that can be removed to ﬁt wide battery terminals. Pmpregnated with a corrosion inhibiting chemical to protect against future corrosion.
